Many third-party apps or WordPress plugins request your Instagram User ID in order to authenticate you. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t give an easy way to find. Thankfully, there are services out there that help you find Instagram user ID’s.
Find Instagram User ID
We use a service by Smash Balloon that lets you search for an Instagram user ID based on the username.
It’s super simple.
- Copy the Instagram Username.
- Go to the website.
- Paste the username into the field.
- Click “Get Instagram User ID”
That is it! Just like that, you’ve found the Instagram User ID from an Instagram username!
You should note that this service may not last. Instagram’s been changing their API and many similar services have found themselves locked out of offering this.
